Students looking for a bonding team experience that develops friendships, strength, and confidence will find it in Blair Crew. We are a coed, parent-supported club team that rows in the fall and spring, with land practice over the winter.
Blair Crew DOES NOT CUT – all students who are willing to work hard make the team. Most incoming Blair Crew rowers are new to the sport and learn technique and strategy from our experienced coaches.
We row on the Anacostia River. Water practices are held after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. A round-trip bus typically brings rowers from Montgomery Blair High School to and from the boathouse at Bladensburg Waterfront Park. Parents carpool to the boathouse on Saturday mornings.
