Maryland State Championships this Weekend!

MD Rowing Champ-Chesterton
Rowing on the bucolic Chester River

Dear Parents and Rowers,

Our next regatta, Maryland State Championship will be held on Sunday, May 1 at Washington College in Chestertown, MD. It’s across the Bay Bridge, 1 hour and 40 minutes from Blair.  Some people have driven over on Saturday and spent the night.  If you’re thinking about coming to watch, it’s a lovely venue and a great little town for wandering through between races.  Don’t forget those regatta essentials for a day by the river: chair, blanket, something to read, binocular, camera, and comfortable shoes.

Arrival and Departure time:

All separate email from Coach Greg will follow with the arrival and departure times.  For now plan on arriving at 8:00 a.m. with a coxswains meeting at 7:45 a.m. and departing from Chestertown around 4:30 p.m. Race schedule is here.
