Great race everyone! Recap from Coach Loree
BlairCrew had a 1st Place in Boy’s Novice 4+, three 2nd Place finishes in Boy’s Varsity 8+, Boy’s Varsity 4+ and Girl’s Novice 4+, and a 3rd Place in in Girl’s Varsity 8+.
An important highlight was the close finish for 1st Boy’s Novice 4+ who moved from being a seat behind to take the lead and first place by less than a second ahead of Gunston– I’ve attached a photo of the extremely close finish! Also important to note that we were in two other extremely close races, only being out four seconds from moving up a position on a 2nd place and a third place finish (these were the Girls Novice 4+ and the Girl’s Varsity 8+ races).
Overall an excellent showing by the entire crew and an exciting regatta!
