America Rows Regatta, Baltimore

Blair Crew had a great day in Baltimore on Sunday at the America Rows Regatta celebrating diversity in rowing.  The Baltimore Rowing Club hosted a number of crews from around the region and race day was beautiful, sunny and it seemed unreal that this same city has been experiencing such troubles and anguish this past week.

Among the crews attending were the clubs of Baltimore, Annapolis, Capital, Washington Rowing School and Freedom Rowers, and high school teams like Blair, Seton, Institute of Notre Dame and Roland Park Country Day School.
The big rowing clubs Annapolis and Baltimore dominated the races, but Blair teams rowed well and were pleased with their performances.  The day was capped off by a fun seven boat coxswain’s race. This 500 meter sprint race was raced by coxswains and the Blair team narrowly missed winning after being run into!    -Coach Hope
